This is a fine, rugged all-purpose knife especially designed and balanced for throwing by handle OR blade as well as for general use as a hunting, survival and camp knife. Made to the same high standards as all Tru-Bal knives.
This version of this model was made from 1971 to 1975. An earlier version was available until 1971 but I am not sure when that started (not 1946) or what it looks like exactly. I’d have to send this in to Stephen McEvoy for certification to be sure.
Sturdy leather sheath included. Overall length 10 1/2″, width 1 1/2″, thickness 3/16″ and weight is 9 1/2 ounces.
The condition of this particular model in my collection is good but not great. It is well used. I’d give it a 5 out of 10. There is no serious rust but there is some pitting and an overall black luster from use and storage. The blade has been sharpened and there is a very small nick on the edge. The sheath shows some scuffs and signs of wear as well as would be expected from a knife made in the 1970’s.
Because of it’s rarity it is still good for a collection but I would not be afraid to go out and enjoy this in the back yard too.
